Personal Interests

My weekends and free time always seem to be jam-packed with a variety of personal projects and travel. Since 2006, I have been traveling to major sports cities throughout North America trying to see a game in every professional stadium, arena, or ballpark spanning the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB. Each trip results in a full written review which includes recommendations for visitors on where to go and what to do while in town. The reviews are contained on several dedicated websites that I’ve created. The websites have evolved over time into a strong resource for sports travel, and I’ve gained some notoriety as a sports travel writer through my associations with local restaurants, bars, and pubs.

Web design and search engine optimization (SEO) have become a passion of mine. I’m a self-taught web designer and I've experienced quite a bit of success assembling a variety of online projects that are recognized and rank well on the various Internet search engines. Through a systematic approach encompassing everything from template design to link building and targeted marketing, I’ve developed a system through trial and error over the years, that works well for me. My web design projects span a variety of disciplines and keep my mind actively engaged and my technical skill set sharp.

I also have a 1979 Triumph Spitfire that I’ve fully restored and I manage and play on an over 30 men’s soccer team that keeps me busy. As a husband and father of two, the remainder of my spare time is reserved for family.
